General Information: The cards represented on these pages are pictures of previously created cards. Due to their handmade nature, your actual card may differ. Because of the added details on these cards they are not intended or recommended for small children. Each card measures 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and will accommodate a large Braille greeting message. We will advise you if your message will not fit after reviewing the message. There may or may not be room available on the front of a card for a short message (EXAMPLE: Happy Birthday, To: PERSONS NAME, Thinking of You, etc.) Larger cards are available upon request to accommodate a larger Braille message at a small additional charge. The recipient’s name, address, and up to a single line of greeting can be Brailed on the envelope also if you wish. The Brailed envelope is more so intended for cards which will be hand delivered. If you will be mailing your card, a Brailed plastic sticker can be attached for an additional $0.25 charge which will survive through the US postal service. When purchasing your card(s) please specify if you will be mailing the card to its recipient or hand delivering so we may include the proper type of envelope. If this information is not specified, we will include an envelope intended to have the card mailed via the postal service. Your card(s) will be mailed to you wrapped in bubble wrap to protect their delicate features and will require additional postage. If you will be mailing your card to its recipient, it is recommended that you mail it with the bubble wrap for protection. Special order cards (Unique situations or non-traditional holidays) are available at an *additional* $10 art set up charge and a minimum of a three-week notice. Cards require a minimum of 48 hours turnaround from time of receiving payment to the time of mailing. Prices on cards are in USD as follows:
Michigan Residents need to add 6% sales tax Special request larger sized cards are an additional $1.00 per card. Shipping and Handling: Shipping and handling on the first card is $3.00. Please contact us for a quote on shipping and handling for multiple card orders. Special order larger sized cards may or may not require a small additional shipping and handling fee, contact us for specific rates. These shipping rates are for U.S. mailings only. Please contact us for a quote on shipping and handling for international orders. However, please understand that we can only Braille in English. Payment Terms: Payment can be made through PayPal to Michele@SightedTouch.com or we accept money orders (preferably US Postal Money Orders) and personal checks (personal checks MAY delay shipment up to 10 days).
